River Oak Capital is a private investment company that was founded in February 2017 in Uppsala, Sweden by Daniel Glaser and ten co-founding shareholders.
It was founded on the principles of fundamental business analysis, a long term mindset and keeping things simple.
Over the years, more people have joined us, and today we are more than 70 shareholders from eight different countries strong – a small but powerful group of realistic optimists.
We primarily invest in public companies based in the Nordics, but also in other parts of the world. We also invest in private Nordic companies if there is a good match and we feel that we can provide good support to the founders.

Amir Dov works for Noked Capital, an Israel-based family of hedge funds with more than SEK 17 billion of assets under management.
Prior to joining Noked in 2021, Amir was the Founder and Lead Portfolio Manager of Reading Global (formerly Levontin Capital), an equity fund established in 2015 which outperformed the fund's benchmark by about 9% per year.
Amir holds an MBA from The Interdisciplinary Center in Israel, a B.A in accounting and economics from Tel Aviv University, a diploma in journalism, and is a licensed CPA.
Stefan Lagerqvist serves as the CEO of NICKS, a fast growing better for you snacking company headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden. NICKS sells great tasting ice cream, chocolate and protein bars across Europe and the US.
Prior to joining NICKS Stefan worked for Unilever as a marketing director responsible for everything from detergents and toothpaste – yes the world of ice cream and chocolate is more fun.
Stefan worked at Procter & Gamble in various finance roles before joining Unilever and holds a Master of Laws and a Master of Business Administration from Lund University.
When not eating ice cream, Stefan has a passion for running and enjoys exploring every new location by foot when travelling.
Daniel Glaser is the CEO and founder of the Company. Daniel has been an investor and entrepreneur since 2010. He is a former elite athlete and played in the Swedish national badminton team for 14 years.
Daniel has an MSc in Engineering Physics with specialization in Optimization from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. In 2005, he did his MSc Thesis in an exchange program at the University of Florida in Gainesville, USA, where he built cancer treatment optimization software. When the project was completed, Daniel's supervisor founded the company ViewRay®, Inc. which used parts of Daniel's work in its initial software. ViewRay®, Inc. listed on the Nasdaq Stock Exchange in 2016.
In his role as CEO, Daniel is responsible for conducting business and financial analysis and for finding investments according to the same principles that he has used in his Family office since 2013.
